Target: To capture the transformation of the educational facility into a modern campus, reflecting Farrans Construction's commitment to delivering high social value and innovation in educational infrastructure.

Objective: The primary objective was to keep global stakeholders updated on the progress and vision of Farrans Construction’s projects in the Education sector. Specifically, for the £25m redevelopment of Barnfield College in Luton, the goal was to capture the transformation of the educational facility into a modern campus, reflecting Farrans Construction’s commitment to delivering high social value and innovation in educational infrastructure.
Concept: The project’s video strategy involved using the latest technology to capture striking footage throughout the build. This approach provided a dynamic and comprehensive view of the construction process at Barnfield College. Our camera crew visited the site at key stages, recording update interviews with the project manager and the other parties involved in the build, we’ve utilised time-lapse cameras and drone videography. These elements combined to create a visually compelling narrative that showcased the scale and progress of the redevelopment, highlighting the transformation of the educational facility into a state-of-the-art campus.
Outcomes: The video received high praise from Farrans Construction and West Herts College Group, reflecting the effectiveness of the documentation in capturing the project’s essence. The video was instrumental in keeping stakeholders engaged and informed about the progress, challenges, and outcomes of the project, also it highlighted the project’s social value, including the employment of local apprentices and long-term unemployed individuals, and its contribution to local economic recovery. To this day, this video is being used to demonstrate the client’s expertise and helps winning other construction projects in education sector.
